2014 GS 350 Exhaust Upgrade Question
Hello all...I'm a newbie to this forum, so I apologize if this topic has already been discussed in depth (please feel free to point me toward the right forum, if that's the case).
But, I wanted your input. I bought my 2014 GS 350 F-Sport almost one year ago...and I absolutely love it. However, one thing that I do not like is that it does not sound as nice as the GS-F exhaust at low/high revs. So, I was wondering if you all had a recommendation for an exhaust upgrade that would make it sound the way I want it to. I'm not really looking for a performance upgrade, just for it to sound nicer when I'm at low or high revs (I know...vain). Any suggestions? All I have seen on youtube that come close to the sound I'm looking for is the Joe-Z exhaust or the Invidia exhaust (here is an example video:
).
I also have a few concerns about adding a custom exhaust like this:
1. Will it void my powertrain warrantee (I have about one year left on the CPO warrantee)?
2. Will it cause reliability issues with the car?
3. Perhaps most important - will this cause the car to have an issues with failing emissions inspections?
4. What does a conversion like this typically cost?
Many thanks, and I appreciate everybody's input.

Borla Exhaust - https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...k-exhaust.html
It doesn't void the warranty, I had no inspection issues (NY), no reliability problems and it cost $100 to install.

Awesome!! Your videos sound amazing...and it's exactly the sound I'm looking for as well. Could you link me to the product, or provide the product number? I want to make sure I order the right one. My car is a RWD.

factor vs this borla cat back
(does the stock sound as good outside the car as it does inside??) because I love the sound...lol
do they pipe sound into the car?
Does the borla add any HP? and does it sound that much better than stock?

The sweet spot for the exhaust during driving is around 2800 RPM, which is when it sounds the loudest. I highly recommend it for GS350 owners.
Thanks again for the recommendation!

So I finally got around to having the Borla exhaust installed and I love it...completely changes the personality of the car when the exhaust sound is more menacing, haha. I've attached a video of the exhaust one day after it was installed (not a cold start video).
