THANKS FORD! Now your "breaking down" cars you don't even make!! I have the Lexus Skill linked and enabled on my car and the Alexa app on my phone. Everything worked perfectly, until one day when Alexa replied I need to enable FordPass on my account, EVEN THOUGH THE VOICE COMMAND INVOKES THE WORD "LEXUS" IN THE COMMAND TO START MY CAR. My Alexa skill remote start of my car was broken for weeks, until I checked my Alexa skills on my Amazon account and found this gem I did not install or link. Why Amazon thought this was a good idea to add to everyone's account because it is FREE is stupid. Ford should have contacted all their customers who have a car that supports this and informed them directly, as opposed to shotgunning this all over Amazon' Alexa.


Sorry just needed to vent.

P.S. Alexa starts my car MUCH faster than Enform, even though Alexa HAS to use the enform account to do so. I have no idea why.

I've never used it, but enabled it today. It is linked and Alexa responds that she is "sending the request to my GS 350 now" – and then nothing happens.

Granted, I've only just tried this once, so I still have no idea what is working and what isn't. Anything that starts the car faster than Enform is a win, so I'll keep trying with Alexa.

Can you start your car using Enform? When i start my car using Alexa i still get the notification from enform that the car start request was successful.
did you link teh enform account with your amazon alexa account? Did you set a PIN?

Yes, I did all those things. I can still start the car with the Enform app, but haven't yet been successful with Alexa.

Did you register teh alexa skill with your Enform account? I think you have to do this on you amazon account using a desktop browser.

It works. I guess it took a little while to "kick in" but it works now. When I tried it this evening, my wife... well, here's how it went:

Me: Alexa, ask Lexus to start my car.
Wife: ?? [looks up from the table, unimpressed, skeptical, possibly annoyed]
Alexa: What is your PIN? (I tell her) Okay, I am contacting your GS three-hundred-and-fifty now

::::::car starts in the driveway::::::

Wife: [eyeroll so intense it was audible]

Me: hashtag winning?
Wife: Hashtag, you're sleeping in it, you weirdo.

Don't worry, im married too, and she'll get it when you cool down the car in the summer before you get in . You have to set the temps and leave the ac and fan on auto though; lexus missed the boat by no putting those controls into enform lol
