From what I have read about the H&R DRS vs DRM:

1. DRS comes with extended studs
2. DRM has their own studs.
3. You will have to torque the DRMs and it's best practice to do so every 3 or 4 months.
4. DRS are best use for daily driving, not track style stuff.

Seems to me that the DRS are somewhat lower maintenance than the DRM. I'm leaning DRS over DRM.

Yes DRS (spacers) is less maintenance, but they require you to press out the old studs and install longer ones. This task is a one time deal, but will require more work than just making sure bolts are torqued every time you rotate tires with wheel adapters (DRM).

Well I don't drive my Lex that often but besides that, the F-sport wheels are staggered so I wouldn't rotate them. Also, I am taking my car to Technica Motorsports in Altanta to have my springs and spacers installed. I'm more concerned about safety and the biggest thing I've read is as long as you get quality spacers that are hub centric either type shouldn't be an issue. But I rather deal with the one time thing and not have to worry about it.

bump for this thread, im thinking of getting spacers for the rear wheels as i hate how it sits stock

theres some good info on this this thread, are there any other brands of spacers which are recomended besides drs & drm?

and the obvious quality/safety issues, have there ever been any issues recently with gs owners and spacers? cheers

I got 15mm (front) & 20mm (rear) DRS extended studs put on in June and so far no issues. After my auto repair guy cussed me out for having to knock out the previous studs (lol) it needed to be realigned.

I don't drive my car a lot but I've probably put about a thousand miles on it since June and it drives just fine and I haven't needed to get it realigned.

There are several brands of spacers out there but the H&R spacers were the ones that were highly recommend.

OK thanks. Of all the spacer brands for the lexus gs, is the H&R drs series considered the best quality? I dont want to put on something that could fail and lead to a car crash.

also, is there a specific model number for the gs350 rwd?

thanks!

Just do a Google search with "suggested wheel spacers for 2014 GS 350 F-Sport RWD"? There is also info on YouTube that discusses safety concerns of wheel spacers.

Here’s a list of hubcentric wheel spacers meant for Lexus Toyota cars

Hey bro what are you lowered on? Thinking of 20 on the front but don’t want rubbing.

I think 15mm front and 20mm rear is perfect.

Running 15mm front and I'm rubbing the wheel well liner at full lock now with 245 Pilot Sport 4 All Seasons on, don't think this was happening with my 235 Toyo's.

I went 15mm front and 20mm rear. I also lowered my car by an inch and kept the same tire size and I've had no rubbing issues whatsoever.

@RTurner711 what tire size are you up front?

Yeah, I’m 15mm front and 20mm rear as well.

Your drop looks nice!
