I was thinking about waiting until the summer event or possibly until the next winter sale. Thanks to @shurik74 for finding this link; you can see the aftermath of my GS : https://www.iaai.com/Vehicle?itemID=31272728.

As @jdpdata mentioned, I did buy a 2017 RX350 AWD F- Sport in ultrawhite/black (picture below). Have not done any work to it but plan on adding the heads-up display, 360 degree surround view monitor, and obviously tinting and de-chroming. The cargo space, interior, ride quality, all of that is exactly what you would expect from a Lexus but the driving dynamics are utterly different and the adjustment is a bit difficult to swallow. However, considering that comparing the GS to ES is apples and oranges, comparing it to the RX is totally irrelevant. All I can say is that I miss going around turns and not having to worry about the vehicle flipping over lol. The SUV has its place but I like the aggressiveness and styleof the GS.

Looking forward to joining the GS forums again!
Wow that was a bad accident, good thing your ok, I guess that goes to show how safe a Lexus is a GS at that, meaning you have to get another GS!

First off sorry to hear about your GS and glad all is well with you. 2nd, congrats on the RX purchase too. Let me ask you as I don't understand your ideology, why not just get an RX with those options built in already from the factory that you are now planning to retro actively add after the fact? I also just purchased a 2017 RX loaded with every single option available for my wife including all the aforementioned features you are looking to add but will end up costing you thousands more not to mention your time and probably end up being way cheaper to get an RX opted with all those features already instead of retrofitting them after the fact. Are you just a DYI and like to spend time doing this or a hobby to get kick out of it? I really like to understand your reasoning? thanks.

Not thousands, costing me about <$1k. Got the HUD for $350, front surround view camera for $160, side view surround mirrors for the balance. And yes, I enjoy DIY. I learn about my car as I do it so when the time comes that I have to solve an issue myself, I will be prepared for it. Plus it's a teaching moment for others to come down the road. Does not always have to be about myself.

@eddie420 you ripping your dash out and writing a detailed How-To about it have benefited me and countless others on this forum. Without your How-To, I would not able to do my trim removal for vinyl wrapping or GROM VL2 installation. Continue to do what you do bro. We all appreciate it.

To be completely honest, I really don't know. If I can find a good price on new, used, or CPO, I'll jump on any of them. Just been window shopping online looking for some deals.
