Long term 6month review on the SC.... if I could go back I would have not got the car supercharged. However the car is faster then a stock GSF but you have to question dependability. Car is not tuned to it potential and even the current tune is running rich. I’m going back to RR for re-tuning soon.

Sorry to hear that, I'm on the fence too. I love the worries power the GS has, just wish it had bit more, but I drive my car everywhere. I have taken to at least 3 states and love to take it on road trips, where it really shines. Not sure if I could deal with the nagging thoughts of "what if" when I'm 600 miles away from home in the middle of nowhere.

ON the other hand its crazy to realize that a tuned to the edge 2GR-FSE would be putting out 500+ at the crank, Lexus really left some on the table. I bet they could have came out with a S/C'd 2GR-FSE that would have been reliable and gotten better H/P, torque and decent MPG.

With 436whp, @ 3726 LB curb weight, you'll get a 11.9 sec 1/4 mile, the trap speed would be 120mph. this is of course with a perfect launch and perfect traction.

I saw this car online at fastestlap.com but i figured it was not a common car. I would buy one in GS form in a heartbeat, 355/367 is perfect..

Did you get a re-tune? We re-tuned mine on the dyno (after disabling water/meth and flashing the 350 dune) in April I think it was. Car is running great with the start of winter it will be in the hangar a lot, just put it up for sale.

I have a consistent e70 blend out here which allows me to put in 2:1 - e70:93 and I am always right at 49.5 - 50.5 on the gauge.

I got the car retune and touched up my RR but still not the happiest. However it’s been a few years now and no big problems yet. Going to change my tranny fluid really soon hopefully that would help faster shifts.

I hope you get it figured out. I love the power a good NA engine makes with some pressure....

D3 performance may have a way for you to have a "local to you" shop try custom tuning. I have their set-up, but have not played with their features yet.

Ah I hope there’s a breakthrough soon with this supercharger, I’m so ready to pull the trigger on it but the few that have done it don’t end up keeping their cars

Yeah, that's usually how it goes. Start messing with car = Selling it shortly after. Almost every time!

Sometimes it's better to just get a faster car from the factory instead.

I had the same concern. The guys that were supercharged always had issues ; one said he wished he never did it. Then just like that, they’re gone from the forums.

That’s what I did. I just wanted to get back into a more tunable platform.

This s/c is a great FI performance mod that produce real gains. I know 2 ppl that have that s/c. One on a IS350 and another on a RC350. It's the fine tuning of the ecu that is needed, fine tuned engine load, a/f ratio, TB position sensor and more to include the injector sizes. Our same basic engine with a s/c, runs perfect when installed on the Tacoma, TRD s/c kit, the Lotus 2GR 3.5 s/c, and many other manufactures both factory and aftermarket with zero problems. Once this s/c is installed it just needs some actual real time on the Dyno and on the street with ecu capable custom tuning for a experience very good tuner.

Not sure if many know this but with the right mods, this 3.5 s/c kit outruns the ISF, RCF and GSF.

It's not unusual that engine and kit builders are not Tuners, and Tuners are normally not engine and kit builders, in most cases. But not all.
