Rotor Question
#16
UPDATE: Dealership noticed the hesitation in my voice so they called me back and decided to throw in both front rotors for free (just paying labor) but they said its not going to be the 2pc but instead an upgraded new 1 pc rotor and i should have my GS back by saturday. also got the sunroof and the mouse tracker fixed under warranty while its there

Well if they're throwing in the rotors for free, take them. Squealing is related to pads you use or lack of lube. I just switch front pads to Akebono, like them a lot no squealing at all. Centric ceramic pads I had before squeal horribly. Try the Akebono.

I sent my GS350 F Sport in for brake pad change and the dealer says i need new rotors and that they're 306 each. I feel like for that price you have alot of options (OEM style/drilled slotted) so i was wondering what do you guys run on y'alls cars?
any benefits/drawbacks?

I prefer the genuine Lexus rotors with TOMs Racing brake pads.

gotcha i just read through your thread. i think i read it before but was concernced about the whole buybrakes ordering blakes and just drilling the pattern themselves. im highly considering the powerstop rotors from rock auto and seeing how that goes as of right now since ive had really good experience with their products before.
ah ok didnt realize you were awd. i appreciate the input!
