My clock has been all over the place and I’ve noticed that occasionally the minute hand takes a big tic. Like it was stuck and broke free. Going to try the glue fix

it’s meant to be a broad statement. Russians import most of their cars from Japan, as only the rich can buy new from local dealerships.

There is a very strong market on fixing and rebuilding cars to bring them back into shape. I have followed Russian car forums for years especially on Lexus cars. The stuff that I have seen done is nothing sort of amazing. From fixing complicated eCVTs in an Ls600h to stripping an GS interior to its bones just to add more sound insulation.

Me, too! I bought mine used from a Honda dealer. I don't have tools for some of the things I've had done but I've only been to the Lexus dealer twice. Once was the brake recall and the second time was to get the dust shield pressed onto my rear hub. Nobody else could touch it. So, technically, my car has only been once. The rear hub assembly has been there twice. I did have the rear camber arms installed as part of the rear alignment when it wouldn't adjust to reasonable spec. It had way too much negative camber it caused the rear tires to wear on the inside excessively.

Description is in Russian language.
but in two words GS and ES 2012+ have similar issues with clock.
There is a magnet inside of the stepper motor.
It should be glued to the gear. Otherwise it may run slower or faster.

Right! Did mine last week and it’s still keeping the time correctly.
