Navigation Joystick/mouse pinouts
Hi guys,
I'm working on a project to setup Android Auto in my 2013 GS350. I'm currently using a Raspberry Pi with Crankshaft (https://github.com/opencardev/crankshaft) installed and have it working however would like to interface the stock navigation joystick with the Pi so I can use it as a mouse within Android auto. I will tap the wires to arduinio board and canbus shield if needed. I would like the setup as stock as possible so that's why i'm trying to interface the stock joystick. Any help would be great, if someone has already figured out how to tap into the stock joystick please share how!
thanks,
glad
Below is a preview, I'm trying to use the controller so i can interact with the Pi.

Unfortunately, I don't have the technical knowledge to help with this venture, but just wanted to say I'm interested in your progress. I had no idea this was even possible. Good luck sir!
Btw, not sure if you have seen this topic, but I think the guys over at @gromaudio have figured how to use the stock joystick for 3rd party software (i.e. Android): https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...installed.html
