Changing all lights to LEDs on 4GS
Good lord there's so many options on Amazon!! What LED lights do you use and why? There are just so many different ones, I don't know which ones to go for? They all have great reviews as well.
Which is the best ones and why?
Here's my search on what I was looking at:

Which bulbs are you trying to change?
Most of the lights in the GS are LED for me (MY2015), like the dome and license plate lights.
For the door curtesy lights i bought the ijdmtoy ones and they are nice bright and white, match my illuminated door sills nicely.
I also bought the ijdmtoy led strip for the trunk, i have to leave the cover off but you can't see it anyway, again nice and bright.

If it's other types of LED (194, turn signals) I really like VLEDS, even though they are pricier i think the service they provide and the quality is great. I have the VLED V6 Tritons for the front and rear, and bought some 194's from them to replace my side mirror curtesy as well but haven't gotten to it yet.
If you need help on sizes of bulbs on your specific application, i always went to the sylvania bulb guide, tells you all the bulb sizes for your car.

I use Diode Dynamics. They're pricier than those sold on Amazon and not as bright / blinding to other drivers.
However they do have a long 3 year warranty, have good customer service and made in the USA.

I too have that LED strip. You don't need to tap any existing power source. It will come with the right plug to fit into the same bulb wedge housing that is already there.
What I did was drill a hole through the existing plastic lens to run the wire through the LED strip. I then pasted the LED strip to the outer portion of the plastic cover. Here is the install guide: http://store.ijdmtoy.com/LED-strip-t...tion-a/571.htm
I have iJDMToy and VLEDs on my GS...those are my recommendations as well (VLEDS are a little more $$$ but better overall quality...iJDMToy no slouch though!).

Yeah i just left the cover off, the plugs fit fine and i don't think it should be an issue.
For reverse lights i have the VLEDS high output:
https://www.vleds.com/921-6-ho-c.html
I usually wait for them to have promotions (15-20% OFF) to order things though..

+1 more for Vleds. I've put them on all my past vehicles including my current GS and RX as they have the 5k color temp (pure white and not very common). I order in bulk though when they have coupon codes on the holidays throughout the year.

But I'm pretty happy with these for puddle lights, trunk light, and door interior lights so far

hey guys, so i put in some LED turn signals for the rear and tested it. It blinks rapidly like I have the wrong bulbs in. My friend tells me I need a flash module.... but I don't believe this to be true. Any idea?
#13
Yeah you need either some resistors, or maybe some of those ijdm bulbs that have them built in (i have vled v6 tritons that have a module to fix that as well). since LEDs dont use that much power your car thinks the bulb is out so it's hyper flashing, a resistor or module would put in the load to make your car think a regular bulb is in there and blink regularly
