I have another vehicle with 3D navigation view, and I find it distracting if I'm not familiar with the area. I find it to be a neat 'trick' feature, but not really useful in my opinion...and I never choose to use it.

Now, if I was flying my JPFSS, it may be useful...

I need to go check my settings for that. I don't think I ever saw the 3D City Model Map option anywhere though.

I know u did something to my nav that's why it's not working!!! Damn hackers!!!

I just check and my Gen 10 doesn't have that 3D option under the detailed settings. Maybe they thought it's too distracting. Well they're wrong! lol

So 2019 GS is using a Gen 9 and it still has this feature? Maybe I should go back to a GS.. Kinda miss my GS too.

Yes, my 19 GS uses gen 9 and has the buildings. And yes, you should come back to the GS...

I'm sure. Hey does it have that new lane keep assist like the new ES where it always try to keep the car in the center of the lane instead of pingpong it like the older LKA? I know it has the all-speed cruise control now.

I have the 3D feature on my '15 GS. It's nothing like the 3D level of graphics you find with google maps like on an Audi A6 per say :P

I have the 3D in my 18 but can't use it here in central Illinois. I'll have to check it out next time I'm in Chicago.

It does have lane centering but not lane tracing.

Does it work when going around bends on the highway? The one that the new ES has is nice.

Speaking of which, I have a 2015 (gen 8 nav I suppose). Is it worth the latest nav software upgrade at the dealer?
