Talking LED bar project / interior switch for blanks / night vision

Good evening,

I enjoy all the talk here of car moding/adding features but I've not yet come across this particular one. I often drive into the countryside (Australia is just like the USA except nobody lives 50kms from the ocean, there's alot of dark roads) so I'm going to install an LED bar behind the intake grille and wish to control it from a switch in one of the dash blanks. Either where the night vision switch lives or one of the 2 blanks on the right side of the wheel would be ideal. I've had difficulty with the Lexus dealer acknowledging part numbers for international bits(Lexus cars here are configured differently to the US).

My car doesn't have a heated steering wheel so maybe there is a 5 way button out there that would give me a spare? There are so many different part numbers and I can't make out which one I'd need. 84010-30830 is one example

I'm unsure what part no is suitable for the left hand side blank option:
84091-30510 - without hybrid not sure if blank or single night view button
84091-30560 - with hybrid, with night view brake hold and night view combo from a 450?
84091-30570 - with hybrid, without night view single brake hold button from a 450?

Has anyone retrofitted their dash blank with a button for another purpose? I had a truck horn in my last car so the idea of twin buttons might not be a bad idea.......
Thanks for any feedback!

Edit: RHD part nos
84091-30540 NV
84091-30580 NV brake
84091-30590 brake

To be fair yours only goes down to 60 because traveling at the speed of sound generates too much heat

An update - I had great trouble locating a suitable switch but I've got everything physically installed. Managed to get a new parking sensor installed while I had the bar off too. Just need to hooking up latching relays and work out how get a high beam signal

So your trigger for the light bar is the high beam with the relay? Why not install a sepreate aftermarket switch to control the light bar independently.?

Assuming since you can't use either one with oncoming traffic so might as well lump them together? I'm also curious behind the reasoning.

What's that button next to the brake hold button, the one that has half moon and a road. Mine only has the big brake hold button.

That's to activate Lexus Night View system. It was an option only for 2013 and they scrapped it afterwards probably because it wasn't that useful and not many people ordered it.

You would have to change your headlights, the infared or whatever technology it uses is emitted from the headlights and there are separate parts numbers for those.

As someone who was going to do this mod on a 2015 (turned out you can either have nightvision or PCS, not both), it's not worth it unless you can truly find a salvage. LKQOnline and a few other online stores do have the parts you need. Like the nighvision camera can be had for $300, harness another a few $$, + the night vision headlights and ECU. It can be upwards of a $1.5K mod. And for what... stare at your screen while driving? No thank you, lol.

Yeah if you really want night vision, just install a light bar like OP.
