Default Removing the Rear Quarter Glass Window

Anyone knows how to remove #4 in the diagram below? I need to replace the weather stripping (#5) and I know that #6 can just slide out but how about the division bar (#7)? Is there a screw holding this piece and do I need to remove the door panel?

Thank you! That's a lot of steps but doesn't look that complicated, I'll give it a shot!

You must have wind noise coming from the weatherstripping?

Yeah and it's bothering the hell out of me man. Good thing the strip only costs 36 bucks, just need some elbow grease.

Just when I thought I could be done with modding cars, I got dragged back into the mud again. Car enthusiast's life I guess and this is not even modding. lololol

I can but they can always cause more damage that I can't see, which is even worse.

I guess you are also an adherent to, "If you want something done right, do it yourself." Haha. That sucks man, hope the repair is easy for you.

That's right! But I've decided not to proceed with this. I was able make the damage look better and I don't really want to tear apart a brand new car. lol And u know things usually go more wrong when u start taking things apart.

Just don't allow anybody to sit back there - then you (and your lovely bride) will be the only ones that know about that yukked-up looking rear quarter glass weatherstripping ... except of course the dozens of people here on Club Lexus - and all the people we will tell around L.A.
