I did this late last year and they let you go in an Autocross course which was fun with the LC and RCF. They did not have the GSF there and told me that Lexus is going in a different direction and not focusing on the GSF.

Went today. Had some confusion during the first event and ended up riding as a passenger. Got in what I thought was the LS until 5 minutes into the ride I was told I’m in a ES!!! Yes, the interior is THAT impressive. Later on, got in a LS and it was unmistakable — the interior of the LS is gorgeous but the car is about 40 years too early for me. Back to the ES. The inside is beautiful and it makes our cars look like a dinosaur. Not sure I can get pass the FWD platform thought.. it’s pretty much a deal breaker for me. Not sure where to go after the GS! Lexus is killing us!

I also went and had a very different experience with the ES. I drove an ES300h Ultra Luxury and was not impressed at all. Could be because I was in the LS first but the ES was not as nice as I expected it to be. It didn't feel that great at all. Even the smell of the interior smelled similar to cheaper cars like my friend's Camry (and I don't usually notice or call out the way an interior smells lol but the difference was noticeable after getting out of the LS). I'd take my '18 GS interior any day.

Yeah, the new ES does not make the GS look like a dinosaur. In fact, it makes me appreciate how much better the build quality the GS has even when comparing it to the much newer car like the ES. This is ES FSport vs my GS FSport and I drove both back to back prior to getting my GS.
