Default Lexus Driving Tour

Just received an email with an invite to the Lexus Driving Tour. Anyone else get this? Anyone know what this event is like? Is it worth attending?

I went to the one in Anaheim last month.

What they're basically trying to do is bring new owners to the brand. You get to:

1) City drive the new LS and ES
2) Thrash a LC around a parking lot course
3) UX Slalom thing
4) NX and RX autobraking

It's over in 1-2 hours...it's fun if you have nothing else planned.

Thanks for the feedback. The closest one is over 2 hours away from me, don’t think it is worth it although I would like to auto cross a LC.

Did they feed you? I remember previous events, they had a pretty decent light spread. Also, did they send you a $1,000 voucher for purchase/lease of a new vehicle?

I can road trip.

We've been trying to move to CA for years. Maybe we'll finally make it happen sometime soon and I could go to these events.

I signed up for August at Citi Field. Should be fun. They usually provide drinks and cookies and chips, etc.

It's fun for something that is free.

It wasn’t anything to write home about, mainly water, coffee, and some basic pastries. Essentially the same stuff you get at the dealership for service.

i wasn’t looking to buy so I don’t know about the voucher.

I went to an event like this last year at Angels Stadium in O.C. It was disorganized and overall disappointing.
Even with the Lexus VIP room at the stadium, they only offered bottled water for refreshments. The LS500 drive around the stadium was limited and the "drive courses" were were very short. Best part of the event, was driving the GSF around. Great car.

Just registered for 9/8! I don’t think it will be like the performance driving school but still fun.

I had one about 3 hours from me that I almost drove to, I think I was out of town that weekend though.

Dying to go to one of these, I want to drive anything on a track, without having to pay, lol
