Ok here's a little update on this.

So I took it to the dealer and of course they said it's all tight and normal and I noticed the 2019 RX loaner I got has the same issue so that doesn't help. They want me to come back tomorrow and take a drive with the technician and we'll see. The thing is, if Lexus considers a rocking seat normal then their quality has really gone down hill big time. This is NOT good!

And as a side note, the 2019 RX quality is day and night different compared to the GS. It feels cheap.

Rock solid on my 18 so far. Maybe Lexus is buying their seat tracks from Dodge.

What in particular did you not like about the RX? I always figured I'd replace my 14 RX daily driver with a new one if it ever got totaled. I've been encountering some crazy cell phone drivers recently and fearing the worst. If I do ever replace the 14, the next one will be an F Sport.

I had the same problem with my RC before but it was a lot worse and u can rock it by hand and dealer fixed it by replacing the seat tracks. I don't really want to tear apart a new car cause usually it comes back with more scratches.
my 2014 es350 has 130,000 miles and I'm 260 no issue at all, other than the 260 lol

My old CPO '16 GS 350 had this issue. The dealer wouldn't fix it since it's only a small amount of movement. The mechanic on the ride along denied it. I got rid of that vehicle for the '20 GS 350 F Sport. (It's fine on the '20)

It's worst during abrupt stop. It was the like seat rails doesn't latch. It's not only Toyota or Lexus, it was on my Honda Pilot before and the Honda dealer won't fix it. I complained to corp and the district manager authorized the repair then.
