Finally ceramic coated the GS!
Spend the better part of Friday night and all day Saturday prepping the car for ceramic. The end result was totally worth it!! Coated with CQuartz UK 3.0 and the shine is ridiculous, I use to have them professionally done but decided to give it a try my self.
Have had it for a year and haven’t had time to do much. It’s a garage queen so, she sees the road once or twice a week, next up is window tint!

I had my previous vehicles done professionally but the price tag with that was extensive and I tend to trade every year or two so it really wasn't worth it. I bought everything to do it for under 400 bucks including the coating. I always love the "rain" washing. LOL

Hand wash with the two bucket method is recommended. If not a touch less car wash would be second best. I did the CQuartz UK 3.0 and it came with a bottle of reload which I guess is made specifically to go with their ceramic coating. I haven't put it on yet but read it gives it an unbelievable shine... I already think the coating did that. haha.

Reset is great to wash with, very slick.
Reload is a sealant that can be applied on top of CQuartz. Helps with longevity and can be used as a drying aid.
I usually apply once a month with Reload.
Twice a year I'll take a light clay mitt and decontaminate the paint, helps with the water sheeting.
Probably over kill, but makes my washes so much easier and quicker. Just don't go aggressive with the clay because it can weaken the coating, really anything abrasive will cause that. Can also just spray the paint with IronX if you feel uncomfortable claying.

The water beading is great! It’s the first time the GS has been in the rain since I coated it.
I’ll say I’m happy and we’ll see how long this coating holds up!
