2018 GS350 F Sport sport + mode is not working??
This is my second GS 350, had a 2016 F sport which I loved. The difference between normal, sport, and sport plus were all noticeable and substantial. Just picked up this car which is a 2018 with 30,000 miles on it, finally tried to play around with it in slid it into F sport plus, and was very disappointed. Not even a noticeable difference between sport mode to sport plus. RPMs stay the same shift felt like it was in normal mode, basically nothing. I understand the ECU learns your driving patterns, but could something be wrong? Should I reset the EC you? Or could it be a bigger issue? Like I said before, my 2016 was on fire in sport plus mode. Just rather not take it back to the dealer as it still under certified warranty. Any input or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

Difference between Sport S and Sport S+ is the steering and suspension, the transmission settings are the same for both.
From the 2016 GS Manual:
Sport mode
• SPORT S mode
Assists acceleration response by controlling the transmission and engine.
When not in SPORT S mode and the driving mode select switch is turned to the
right, the “SPORT S” indicator comes on in the multi-information display.
• SPORT S+ mode
Helps to ensure steering performance and driving stability by simultaneously
controlling the steering and suspension in addition to the transmission
and engine. Suitable for sporty driving.

I loved the heavier steering and firmer suspension on my previous 2015 model F-Sport on Sport+ mode, felt much sportier than the refreshed models. You can definitely feel the difference in handling when it's on Sport+.

Try driving it like you stole it in manual mode for about a week. Let the cat warm up of course. I am pretty sure the car learns your driving style my 15 tired and it drives considerably different in all modes when my wife drives it for a week or two vs when I drive it for a week or two. It is more responsive the next day after I've been gassing it hard
