I thought most people were replacing the stock Stop/Start Button with either a red button or one made of carbon fiber.

The previous owner of my GS had long nails and scratched the button facing. It's still functional but looks worn to me.

If the plastic surround bothers you, just add a bling ring.

Its more about the feel, like the door handles. I was driving around the new ES and just noticed it felt nicer. I only prefer the blue cause theres a blue option.

The only red options are TRD buttons.

Why you need a different start button? Don’t like the stock start button on GS?

Absolutely, nice job! Much better than the chrome ring that looks out of place. Looking forward to when I receive the one I ordered.

It really does. Is it a plug-and-play replacement?

Correct, to me the chrome ring around the starter button looks very cheap and doesn't fit in with the other finishes of the dash. The LS500 button looks much better. I know it is a bit nit picky but for $140ish bucks to me it is worth it.
