Default Aluminum door handles?

Do the 2016+ Lexus GS f-sport have aluminum door handles?
I was watching this youtube video and it looks like aluminum. the ones on my 2013 GSh are plastic.

Screenshot from video

UPDATE

Here are all the correct part numbers. The rears handles have different mounting tabs, I ordered 2 sets of front handles and had to modify the front handles to fit the rears correctly, but it you order the following you don't have to do that.

69280-30070
69270-30050
69280-30060
69270-30040

My 2019 handles feels like metal, maybe it is aluminum. The ones in my RC were plastic I think. They look alike but feels different, the GS one feels more solid.

Interesting might me a worthy mod if it's inexpensive. Mine are plastic and feel cheap.

Can anyone else confirm that it's metal?

When I tap it with my finger nail it sounds like metal and it feels cold to the touch. Plastics aren't cold and it sounds different when u knock on it.

I would expect it to be metal in the GS cause it's a GS! lol

Does it feel like the center clock trim?

I know that's metal on the 2016+ GS. For some reason Lexus was cheap and used plastic in the door handles and center clock trim for 2013-2015.

Another think I wish my car didn't has was all the fake leather on doors and dash. Also the hard plastic parts textured to look like leather.

Funny you mention this. Just the other day I was thinking that my door handles felt more solid in my 19 than in my 15, but just wrote it off as probably remembering incorrectly.

Now I thought that clock trim piece was plastic but now I need to recheck that again. I will report back later.

I don't think it is solid aluminum. My FSport came with the "aluminum" trim but I think at most is is laminated with aluminum. It feels very plastic to me.

My plastic door handle has a seam line on top looks like from the mold or were they joined two pieces of plastic together. It has not weight to it.
Your 2013-205 GS f-sport has plastic door handles, just painted silver. They changed the door handles after the refresh.

I'll check mine out a little more closely when I am in my car later today. I don't believe it has any mold lines. I know the ones on my 15 did.

Perfect. I'll take a look in another couple hours when I get in my car and take a picture.

Yeahh!!! Definitely no mold lines on my 2019. That's one of the first things I looked at to see if it's a molded plastic. The RC had that mold line.
