Yes. It's just the way it is and doesn't bother me.

Agree. It is perfectly normal, and to be expected, that all paint is going to have some degree of texture/orange peel.

This finish seems a little out of character for Lexus. Any one else out here with 2019? Are you happy with your paint finish? I need to inspect some other new 21019's to see if this is common with current Lexus autos. The sales manager worked with me for a couple weeks to locate my color and interior wants from a downstate dealer, otherwise I would have not accepted the car.
This is a little bit late of a reply. I did check out a RC 350 today in nebula gray pearl. When I went to the lot and looked at it, I immediately noticed that the passenger side door had an inordinate amount of orange peel.

Now I know orange peel is the norm nowadays because of low VOC paint regulations. Lexus has been very good, unlike BMW, Tesla, and range rover, at keeping it at an acceptable minimum. However when I saw the 2019 tact just arrived on the lot today, my jaw dropped. What’s strange is that the intensity of orange peel was inconsistent throughout the vehicle making it look like it was painted in sections, or perhaps sections repainted.

Nonetheless, the car would require a significant paint correction as the current job is unacceptable to anyone with a keen eye and used to Lexus quality.

My current Lexus and the one I had before that do not have a noticeable amount of orange peel. Quite frankly I was surprised that this was even released from the factory as is. Anyway, I just wanted to give you my experience and convey that Lexus is not exempt from significant orange peel effect and seems to be a sporadic crapshoot at best.
