I think they made the "split" last year in 2018 more official - I believe they are also building out a small network of Genesis dealerships which will only sell that brand.

Kept my 2013 GS 350 AWD but just purchased a Genesis G70 3.3T Sport AWD. Different class of car but very exciting.

There was a time when that was true. I can also remember a time when Toyotas were pretty crappy too. By the time Toyota split off the Lexus brand, they had become a respectable manufacturer. I'd say that's true of Kia/Hyundai also. We preferred the Lexus GS to the Genesis G80 but I'd still consider Genesis/Kia/Hyundai - not 20 years ago but today I would.

Because the F should of been an engine option for the Regular GS and this is the problem with Lexus, they are always behind in tech and specs but yet, they have the most money. No reason the GSF came out with less than 500bhp when the competition already had 550 and up.

What a tragedy. The Stinger is everything the GS should aspire to be while keeping the materials and quality. The Stinger is much faster, a lot more dynamic and has a much better accommodations.

I definitely agree that the GSF should have came out with atleast 500HP especially as you said when the competition had 550HP and up. I was really excited for Lexus to make an M5 competitor only to find out it was no M5 competitor and more like a 550i competitor. I saw that Lexus had an LS TMG edition with over 600hp at the time and it got me excited.

Okay, here's a little wake up call that I got this morning. Took my dad's Camry in for service due to check engine light and I felt like I have to beg the service guy to even look at the car and u can forget about a loaner, one-way shuttle is all u got. My dad drives this car most of the time so I haven't been to the Toyota dealer in a long *** time.

Completely different experience when u step in a Lexus dealer with a car problem. A loaner that is sometimes better than ur car is already waiting and the service department people are just so nice and willing to work with u.

Damn it stinks to hear that! And yes, not surprised at all. It's a different planet in the Lexus service department from anywhere else I've had to go.

I think I'm holding off. With the news that the RX is getting a touchscreen and Android auto, I'm cautiously optimistic well see those features on other 2020's. I had looked at the ES again too, it leases really well.

But I think the Kia is out. I'm a Lexus guy...

I hear ya. I do like the new tech. on the new RX too. If something would happen to my 14 RX, I'd definitely be getting the new RX. Not real crazy about the 16 & up styling but I'm sure it would grow on me. I'm sure you'll let us know if ya get something new. Might as well take your time till ya decide what might be right for you.
