Here you guys go: out of a 2013 GS350 from Minnesota. 102k on the clock. This is after all the gas had dried up from the filter. It wasn’t clean, but also wasn’t horrible filthy. Just judging the condition of this filter, I would have to agree that it is most likely "lifetime" depending on where you get your gas from. All the dark stuff you see is contaminants that it picked up. It most definitely could have held more. I did notice a slight improvement in acceleration after the change, that went away within the first few hundred miles, most likely due to the ECM adjusting. It does feel a bit smoother though. Was it worth the the amount of time and energy? Probably not.
