I used primer, gloss black, and 2k clear - and lots of elbow grease for scuffing. I taped off the portion of the lip that contacts the car as I wanted the double sided tape to adhere to the lip and not the painted surface.

@Ebitduh Did you just spray 2k clear over the lip? No black paint? Did you scuff it up or just clean the part thoroughly.
