[Question] Do you guys daily your GS ?
Hello I was just wondering, I only have 1 car which is the GS, i was wondering about what others have and if they are using the GS as their daily driver.
A lot of people told me they would have like a beater cars and then use the GS for certain occasion.

I daily my GS, otherwise there would be no point in owning it. Why would I drive a beater? My 2013 GSh has just over 95k miles on it.

Nah - its better to enjoy the car IMHO and not have a second car which you have to insure, register, maintain, etc. I hardly drive my car as it is b/c I commute using mass transportation but wish I could drive it more to get my money's worth. My uncle did this with his BMW X5 SUV (he bought a high mileage Acura TL as his daily) and he regretted not just using the BMW and enjoying it.
If I had the money or need, i'd do it differently: I'd use the GS as the daily driver (since its a great, reliable driveable sedan) and have a Range Rover or Porsche as the occasional/recreational ride.

I typically drive ~20K a year so my cars have always been high mileage, but I did enjoy driving my '03 G35 so that was just the cost of my enjoyment. Downside is tons of miles, forget about value on trade-in, so I keep my cars, 270K on my '03 G35 when I donated it last year, 332K on the '02 Sequoia I still have. So when I got the GS, I swore that I wouldn't beat on it like I did the Infiniti...problem!
When I drive the Sequoia I feel like I'm cheating myself. Did I really drop a boatload of cash on a car that's going to just sit in the garage half the time? I'm now realizing that maintaining low miles on the GS is such BS. I'm on month 11 of ownership and there's 11,200 on the odometer; I've probably driven the Sequoia about 6K miles since getting the GS. Starting now, maybe I'll drive the Sequoia 1 week per month, but I'm going to start enjoying my GS more.

The GS is definitely a great and reliable daily driver, good mix of luxury and fun. I use the S550 more now as a daily because of the massage seats but prefer the feel of the GS for daily. The LP550 is for weekend use typically due to how uncomfortable it is and the annoyance of finding parking that I am comfortable with.

I don’t have the space the time or the money to properly care for more than one car so I Daily my GS year round and I don’t care I love it. I’m curious to see how far the engine and transmission will go without issue

Yeah I'm just going to trash the idea of getting a second car altogether I tried using my lady's corolla, its miles behind compared to the GS(was originally thinking of picking up a daily beater corolla for 1k)
