I guess you have to wonder if the new servo's are improved replacements?! Could be worse, some of the new C8 Vette's are busting valve springs right off the lot. Apparently their supplier was sending faulty ones to the factory.
Wow. After reading this thread and Flanker271's I guess I should pile on the reports of servo failures. My '15 base had the same problem a little over a year ago. Arizona hot day and I'm 40 miles from home. Stopped to meet a friend for lunch and on startup all I got was hot air.
Fortunately my GS has L/Certified coverage. The dealer (Superstition Spring Lexus in Mesa, AZ) replaced ALL servos, claiming all had failed. The service advisor said it would have been a $2700 repair!!!
So far they're working fine, but I've only racked up about 3k miles since then. Fingers crossed.

I doubt the issue is based on age.. more likely on the parts supplier. TSB shows 2017-2019.
good find. Looks like a supplier issue.
I wish they stop changing the design or materials on what works. Used to be first year model are the worse. But with the GS seems like the most reliable.
Sorry to hear about this issue Chinee. What are you going to do? Sounds like a ticking time bomb and an expensive fix if out of warranty. Get rid of the GS jump into a ES? My '15 GS A/C was always too cold, I never leave it on for too long.
Or say goodbye to Lexus and get an Acura and join me over in Acurazine. It's so boring and dead over there. You make a post, you're lucky if you get a reply in 3 days. I bought an old man's car. That's what I get LOL

Remember the 80's and early 90's when cars have simple sliders to control vent temperature? You don't get automatic climate control but there is also zero chance of failure.

I actually had more problems with those! On a Corolla I had, the cable (that opens/closes the blending door) broke, and on my CR-X, the dial for turning up or down the heat/cool stripped out. You can't win!
