It was good to watch, as the test car configuration (2019 AWD F Sport) is what mine is.
He did make a lot of comments about how the lack of tech updates, like CarPlay, may indicate that Lexus is giving up on the GS. I don't think that is an indicator of the GS's future, I think Lexus is just slow to update nav platforms. But that is, perhaps, a different thread (or threads).
My only real issue with his review is his complaint about the GS looking too much like the IS and ES. I don't see it, other than the grill, and frankly, don't care if it does.

I think what Toyota/Lexus lacks in updates vs. the competition is the proven record of reliability. I'm a long term keeper of most of my cars and at my stage in life at 55 reliability wins for me. After owning so many brands it's the premature failure that irks me the most. I would be livid with my 18 if I experienced the issues other brands have. But, I realize people don't keep a certain car for the long haul like I do.
Maybe the platform has gone stale but it's proved to be a winner in my book.
