Default Went from a IS to a GS.

I will spend more time in the GS page now since I just picked up a GS350 F-Sport today.

Beautiful! Welcome to the club! That color and window tint look great together. How do you like it compared to your IS so far?

Still getting used to the cup holder placement, start button. I love the larger screen and memory seating. Also the driver seat has so many options, I dont know how to make myself comfortable. Lol

Looks good! Did ya buy it out of town? Obviously you had the car delivered to ya. What options do ya have? That's a great move coming from an IS!

Congrats on your new GS F-Sport. Did you test drive before delivered to your home?

Welcome to the 4GS club and congrats. I too went from an IS to a GS - the GS is the more refined and well mannered big brother with the perfect edge when needed. Its a pleasure to drive. Enjoy and great choice

Timely thread... I got an IS300 as a loaner today and I found the driving experience to be extremely positive! The car certainly is far more planted than the GS and the seats felt molded to my behind. Steering was precise and power was sufficient, but needed more to up the excitement (the 350 must be fun!). I also found the seating position to be more comfortable than the GS.

Funny that the OP mentioned the cup holders because the placement in the IS was idiotic, placed right where your right forearm and elbow is placed to use the remote touch. No where to rest my phone, and stupid temp adjustment controls.

It reminded me of my 03 G35, that was also quite planted in the corners, but the IS was smoother and more refined.

All in all I really liked it and thought it would be an excellent daily driver. Kinda makes me want one....

I got this car from McCall Lexus in Houston, TX. I did not test drive it, but I did extensive research on this vehicle prior to going for it. I got this vehicle to replace a 14 IS350 f-sport that was totaled from an accident last.month.

Looks great! Congrats! I'm sure it's nice having a little more room in the GS compared to the IS.

Yep, I made the switch. This feels more like a grown man sports car. The IS was more of a fast bachelor's car. Hahahhaha. Pretty much this GS is the link between a sporty IS and a family oriented ES/Avalon.

I would love it if the GSF rear diffuser and exhaust were interchangeable. I have minor mod plans in the future such as wrapping the roof and wrapping the chrome window trim. Besides that. Not too much to do but enjoy the ride

You know what, I do enjoy the room and I am getting used to the front space and layout vs the compacted **** pit IS. We get used and acclimated to whatever we drive and I had the IS for 3 years so I was used and happy with that as well. The GS is also wonderful and I am still getting used to minor things. I noticed the refreshed have better audio tech. The 12.3" screen is great to have. TBH. I was looking initially for a 2017-2018 IS350 liquid platinum/Roha red because that what I knew. But for the $$$ it cost, I brought this certified GS for less than what the 17-18 IS was going for. It's not really about space because the exterior is an obvious size differnce, but the interior leg room aint much more than the IS. The fact that the GS got more bang for the buck and the refreshed spindle grille did it for me. All in all, I'm happy.

What kinda sucks is that I was close to paying off my previous IS, and now I'm back to the drawing board. I'm hoping the settlement will get me close to where I was earlier .
