Has anyone ever seen a crash test of the 4GS?
I was searching for crash test videos of the 4GS and it doesn't look like any exist. Has anyone seen any? There are plenty of the ES, RC, IS, etc. but no GS. I'm curious to see how our cars perform in the standardized batch of crash tests.
I see IIHS tested the 4GS and it got the highest possible rating in nearly every category, at least at the time of testing, but they don't have any videos of the tests and it looks like no one else does either.

Does anyone know if the Toyota Crown in this video is based on the 4GS platform? If so, would it be safe to assume our GS would perform similarly as shown in the video?

Remember... I lived my crash test... lol.
Front offset collision.
Side impact:
Overall Evaluation: Very, very, super-duper good!

P.S. - @chinee, we hope you don't have to be CL's crash test dummy again!

I think it's the other way around - the 4GS is actually based on the Toyota Crown platform. I remember reading this on this forum many years ago and just had to look it up again.

Because the platform is called a "Toyota" New N Platform, then may be the 4GS is based on the Toyota Crown?
Just semantics really.
All means the same thing.
I suspect the crashworthiness would be the same.

@chinee What a nightmare. Glad to see these things hold up well in the real world. Were you the one who said it was the comfiest car to crash in? Haha
@chinee - I lived through my test also! And to think my teachers thought I would never go anywhere in life.
Yep this dummy bought himself another GS... and it's better than the first!

Update.
Actually, the old 2012-18 Toyota Crown crash tested in the video above used the old Toyota N Platform.
While the current 2012-onwards Lexus GS uses the newer Toyota New N Platform!
So the Toyota New N Platform may be superior to the old Toyota N Platform...
