I had the same experience as HUSKERnKS with the Beat Sonic device. Support, instructions and video were awesome but the resolution was a deal-breaker for me. It stretches the carplay over the 12.3 inch screen so you end up with a lower quality resolution that is not to scale. I have ordered the Lsailt model from Aliexpress which seems to be the preferred option.
The beatsonic is ideal for the 2013-2015 GS because it was designed to use the left 2/3 of the screen. For 2016+ full screen is stretched out, for that lsailt is better.
Also this is the fix for the audio noise/static, just put this ground loop isolater inline with the audio connection:
I followed this video on how to organize and tidy up the wires, I also Velcro the units together to make this install as easy as possible. Ready to mount behind the glove box.
I have everything hooked up, double checked the wiring. I'm not getting any audio from the unit and can't select aux input in the car screen. Everything else works, even the mic.
Only dipswitch 5 is on.
Please help.

We have recently found out about this issue thanks to some of our other customers and was planning to make a separate announcement on the permanent fix together with other updates that will be finalized next week.
As a temporary quick fix please plug something in your factory 3.5mm aux jack in your armrest. For the permanent fix, we would need to jump two wires on the AUX harness, which we will make this modification and send you the new harness you free of charge. If you would like to jump the two wires yourself you can as well, please email us and we can provide the instructions. Info@beatsonicusa.com

@BeatSonic Can you please share what wires to jump on the AUX harness in this thread?
We would not want to share that information here as doing it improperly can break your radio and we do not encourage doing it by yourself. In addition we will be sending new harnesses for who needs it.

So if I order the kit today, would it include the updated harness?
