Beatsonic released firmware updates that resolve the issues you guys had with screen resolution on the full screen display, also some other nice updates. Not to mention the fix so the aux works correctly.
On the 2013-2015 Lexus GS the screen resolution is nearly perfect, but the icons on the menu are slightly stretched vertically. It's not a major issue, but is this something that can be fixed? Seems like stretched vertically a few pixels.
In order to utilize the entire screen we stretched the image just so slightly vertically. Or else there would be some unused space on the screen with black borders.
Thanks @peasodos for the news about the beat sonic update, the optional cable does not work with my GS as it's 2015 model. I guess I would need to remove the glove box over the weekend to do that update. A good thing I have tons of mini USB cables at work.
I found out it only works that way in some music apps and not others, weird. Either way it's not a big deal, they also improved the movement of the mouse on the AA/AC side of the screen with the latest firmware update.
The product is relatively new and Beatsonic is actively making improvements and I expect future firmware updates also. Just make sure wherever you mount the unit that you can remove it, for future firmware updates. I used velcro to attach mine, but I would still have to remove the glove box to get to it.
Hey guys, I am having issue, everything is currently plugged in as it should, at least I believe so.
when I had everything apart everything was working fine. Now as I was putting everything back together, the CarPlay doesn’t show up. The metal box doesn’t look like it’s getting power because there is no light. Also the screen doesn’t react to anything from the joystick. Only the right side receives input but the left doesn’t react to the joystick.
it also gave me an error saying Climate Control Error please contact your dealer.

It was available for purchase on the website and sold out last month. I asked them about a week ago, should be restocking in about a week. I think it's sold on a first come first serve basis, so I would just check the website every once in a while or you should get a email notification when it's instock.
