Ordered and installed the Carlinkit according to manual, it isn't switching to the menu display, just stays in factory display. All I get is a black screen in AV and a low humming noise in AUX mode.
It does say Phone Connected for media and audio at startup. I was able to connect to the kit using my phone via Bluetooth as well. I can see the wifi but don't know the passcode.
Switches are set 235 ON, the rest are OFF.
I'm just supposed to long press mode button to turn it on, right? Anyone have any suggestions? I'm chatting with Carlinkit on whatsapp but not getting anywhere with them yet.
The joystick control will not work correctly for the 2015 GS see my video of the problem earlier in the thread. This will only work in 2016+ GS with full screen
Running into an issue with my install, I can’t seem to connect to the carlinkit interface when holding the menu button down, I can hear the box “clicking” but it won’t switch over.
when I connect my phone directly to usb, the carplay will show in the screen, but then I cannot use the joystick to move, it essentially freezes, the joystick does not move and the screen is jumping.

I messaged them directly last week and they said they've fixed the issue in the latest ones that they're sending out.
Unfortunately I can't even get the system to show up yet to be able to test that theory. Do you know what dip switch settings should be? 235 isn't working..

I have the radio Media set to Aux, I can see the carlinkit on my I phone and am connected to it and CarPlay is selected. But when I long hold the menu button, I cannot switch over to carlinkit

This is the one sent in my kit. I asked tech last night on WhatsApp and they confirmed it was correct after I asked them about it. I suspected it was wrong according to the pictures uploaded here.
