nope, I just rewired it, but this is sometime ago. I just kept at it until I figured it out. I give the system a 7/10, but it works really well for what I use it for as I don't play around with it whilst driving.

So they gave me a MCU update and it works A LOT better. It doesn't bounce back as before anymore. The MCU I had was 20.8.21.11, now I have 20.11.4.xxx
Extract the .BIN FILE to your USB after you've formatted it to FAT32 with default settings.
Plug USB into USB port of Carlinkit.
Go to settings -> update -> 4091 -> MCU Update -> confirm

Yeah for just standalone wireless carplay it works great. I also found out it works much better with iPhone 11 Pro than with my old iPhone X. Also much better for CarPlay than Android Auto. As far as address input go I just do that on my phone and I don't use siri, but probably should.

In my case it didn’t solve my issue I had same problem on my IS350. If not leave the way as is let the joystick control both systems, OEM stereo and CarPlay.
Instead you should install a track pad it works much better. Even if Lexus joystick works in CarPlay it’s pain to navigate with joystick it barely works. The reason I said to leave the way with joystick controlling both so that you can still use Lexus joystick to control oem system. After I swapped the black connectors on my harness I lost the ability to control oem system.

steegro, did you find a fix? I just installed the unit and found the touchpad and steering wheel buttons are not working at all for my 2015 NX300h. Appreciated if you ort anyone could share any insights. Thanks!

Did you follow the instructions for touchpad and the appropriate screen size for NX300h? If you scroll up I reposted the installation instructions that breaks it out...
