Update your firmware to the latest version if it's older and that should make the mouse control so much better. Basically left and right are the fastest/best way to navigate through the menu.

There is no difference in the head unit as far as f-sport and non-fsport goes.

Also our head unit is "Type B"

What's the benefit of apple car play. Is it that you can control your phone through the head unit? I have android so I'm not into the apple car play.


Edit: just saw its android compatible as well. Anyway, my question still stands...

So you can have the screen on the car mirror your phone so you can see text or other stuff on the screen that way you dont have to look down on your phone constantly.

Yeah looking at the pictures this is the same thing as Beatsonics apple carplay android auto for about half the price.

I think that's for aftermarket reverse cameras. You don't hook it up if your using your factory one.

Kit came in, with my experience taking apart the head unit and switching it out. This install is actually very easy, just plug and play. Going to install this tomorrow.

Apple CarPlay is wireless.
Android auto you have to connect to the phone via USB input.

If this works it will be cheaper than Beatsonic and better than Grom. Apply Carplay/Android Auto > Grom
