I have this annoying rattle that is coming from the passenger area on my GS Lux that is driving me crazy now. It happens the most at low speeds, sounds like it is coming from under the seat, it is a very fast rattle that sounds like a small pebble sitting in or on something hard and then vibrated, it is not that loud but you can still hear it with the radio down low. I reach under the seat and try moving things and it makes no difference, I smack the bottom of the seat and seat back and no makes no difference, I checked the center storage bin and it still makes the noise, I vacuumed, I just can't find it and it seems to get worse. I don't really notice it when I have passengers but I am normally talking or they are talking so it may just be drowned out, it is not that loud, just extremely annoying especially if you turn the radio down.
Has anyone else experienced this fast paced rattle that is worse going at slow speeds/bumpy roads around the passenger area, sounds like it is happening under the seat in the center area?

Are you sure it's not the sunroof rattling? My 18 randomly rattles but I still haven't addressed it yet. The rattle is more prevalent in the cooler months vs. summer for some weird reason.

If it's around turns, then a screw might be loose in the headrest? I had one or two come out of the driver side head rest (not sure what the purpose of the screws were thought - everything still works as designed)

It does not sound like the sunroof, always sounds like it is coming from a area lower then my head, really sounds like it is coming from the bottom of the passenger seat maybe more in the middle. It happens when I am going straight but is not totally constant, sometimes it goes away, it is a very fine rapid noise, like two pieces of plastic rapidly tapping on each other or something really small sitting on something and being vibrated pretty rapidly.

Try holding (squeezing-clamping) the rearview mirror. I had a buzzing sound coming from my rearview mirror, which was hard to locate because the buzzing sound was random and it sounded like it was coming from somewhere else. Wherever the rattle is coming from - it's probably not where you think it is - sounds have a way of playing games with our ears...

I found out it was not the bottom of the seat but the glovebox, when I open the glovebox the noise goes away. The piece right next to the glovebox popped out a little, it is the first thing you pop off when taking out the radio which I did a few months ago. I don't know if that is it but I'll try to pop that back in better.
