Default Few unanswered questions for a newbie

Hey everyone! New owner of a 2016 200t since the beginning of June, and I'm loving the car so far. I had a few questions/issues I couldn't find answers to

  1. Backseat AC vent - realized about a month ago, no air was coming out of this when it was opened. Is there some secret setting I'm missing, or do I have to take this to get it looked at?
  2. Side mirrors when reversing - so when I got the car, they didn't point down when I put the car in R... after about 3 weeks, they started to point down out of nowhere. In less than a week after, it stopped doing this with no change by me. How do I get this functionality back?!
  3. I don't have navi, so when the car turns on it defaults to a relatively pointless compass screen. Is there a way to make it start at the "home" where I have the split screens of my choosing?

Hopefully these aren't the most obvious questions ever and I'm not an idiot for asking. As a consolation for a lame post, here is some pretty easy art I made of my car to give you something to look at

1) Make sure S-flow is switched off on the climate control. There’s a button for it near the center of the climate control buttons.

2) Mirror tilt is activated when either left or right mirror control is selected (leave one button lit). You can adjust how each mirror adjusts when you go into reverse; adjust the mirrors while you are in reverse and set it to your programmed seat setting.

3) Can’t help with this one.

I didn't even know your mirrors tilt downwards when in reverse. What do you mean "left or right mirror control is selected (leave one button lit)"? Is that the control pad on the left of the steering wheel?

On your driver's door, where you have your controls for adjusting your mirrors. There is the "L" and the "R" switches to activate the controls. Always leave one of those selected, and your mirrors will dip when you are in reverse.

Here are the instructions, which are in your Owners Manual.

Don't forget to SAVE the reverse mirror setting to one of your seat memories.

Default Mirror tilt OFF.

Pound it into your memory...,. "If I leave the L & R mirror choice selector in the middle; Mirrors are OFF. You may choose this position as your personal default setting. And just move it to L or R when you need extra care!!! One can save wear and tear this way.

Thank you AJLex! That kinda baffles me this is a physical button, and the AC is not. I feel like the s-flow could've been on the climate control screen or inside of the options somewhere, and they included the AC button instead.

^ is this a common issue with the rubber trim on the rear doors?

If you set the two green boxes to auto, you just set the temperature and never have to mess with the ac again.

What is the issue? I see spotting on the plastic trim, which could be a careless application of waterless wax or a plastic/rubber shine, hard to tell for certain.

Mold/mildew? Use some APC and a brush to clean. Some light compounding/polishing might work as well.

I see this type of degradation occurring when cars are not washed regularly.
