Default ‘15 Gs 350 F sport transmission

Realized today in my driveway that my Gs won’t roll backwards in neutral.. I can push it forward in neutral though. On a slight hill it will roll a foot and then stop..
Curious if I have a transmission issue or if this car is designed to do that. No other issues while driving although shifting down from 6th-5th in sport+ mode is pretty jerky.. and while in 3rd about cruising 20-25mph is pretty jerky..
thank you for any replies!

Parking break is not engaged. The car will roll forward with ease.

IIRC the cars have hill hold as well, could be that.

They do in drive, don't think neutral will hold though. OP could it be handbrake related? Or the brakes slightly engaging now allowing it to roll back if that's possible?

Better check under your car, someone might be laying there.

Strange what is happening. The OP didn't say anything about setting the 'brake hold' feature - only that when in Neutral the car will roll forward, but will not roll backward. I can't imagine the parking brake somehow automatically 'sets' when the car is in Neutral and rolls backward.

It could be the brakes slightly engaging but I don’t think that’s it since I’m able to roll the car forwards..I can not push I backwards at all.
As for the brake hold.. I do not have it engaged and my model doesn’t have a button for that.. you can press the break hard and it’ll hold.
thanks for the replies guys.

Hold up, hold up!

This is normal for the GS and RC, it will not roll freely backwards when in Neutral but it will roll forward. Mine is like this too and also my old RC and GS, it will roll a foot and it feels like something is holding it.
