Yeah that's a mistake on the website. Zoom on the instrument cluster and it's 5 characters long, more like 42k+ miles.

Not to mention list price of $28,988 makes sense for a 42k mile car.

2013 Lexus GS 350 f-sport, 200,329 miles for $13,187

Listed for $29k. Either the price or mileage is substantially wrong. Guessing it's really 42k.

With all jokes and mistakes aside, do u guys think the GS can go to 400K miles without major repairs? Or even a million miles like the 1st gen LS that I keep seeing and hearing about?

My GS has 66k now and I plan on keeping it forever. I take road trips and lots of highway miles, and take excellent care of the car. It's been great so far all stock except tires a few LED lights and a GROM VL2.

Definetly believe it can go over 400k miles but not without major repairs. I'm pretty sure the stereoscopic steering would go out and would cost a fortune if you wanted to fix it but doubt anyone actually would. Not sure the tranny would make it that far either but i could be wrong never had any car for that long so who knows.

Also bear in mind, most people that are going to go over 200K on these cars are likely doing a lot of highway mileage. On a level of impact to long term car life, that kind of mileage isn't really that abusive.

If you're talking about the telescoping steering wheel going up and down as you get in and out of the car that broke down on many second gen GS' and could be fixed relatively easily. Taking mine apart I found that the motor bushings eventually wore down but they last quite a while and cleaning them up could extend their life. I am pretty sure the transmission would probably need some kind of repair as I am starting to find they are a bit jerky on my 3GS and 4GS at around 120K miles or so. But seeing these cars just used until their very limit makes me pretty happy to see such great engineering and quality. Also less waste in the environment.

You're "pretty sure?" what data do you have to back that up? There's lexus products with powered adjustable steering wheels, etc, much older than this generation that are largely still working. Most of these cars could make 400K no problem with regular maintenance. Whether it's a good idea or not is up to the owner- at some point or another you'll be at a flopover point financially with the car vs the value of the car where it might make more sense just to buy another car, but the whole point of this brand is that you can pretty much drive ithem as long as you want. .
Also bear in mind, most people that are going to go over 200K on these cars are likely doing a lot of highway mileage. On a level of impact to long term car life, that kind of mileage isn't really that abusive.

Why are you getting so defensive? I am not bashing the GS350 and yes I could of phrased it much better. I am just speculating which you could easily infer if you read exactly what I wrote. Anyways I'm glad to know that there are lexus products with similar features that have already gone that far with no problems.
