If it doesn't sell by January they might drop it to $30k. Doesn't seem like they will make a whole lot of money on this car.

I also thought to do this before the end of the calendar year to avoid "year older" kind of.

Following this thread. Anxious to see what you get for it. I have a similar situation with a fully loaded F Sport. Literally I mean every option, HUD, ML sound, power trunk, heated steering wheel, park assist, etc. According to Lexus very few were sold like this. I thought I had gotten a great deal used with only 2K miles for $40K. Now I'm at 13K miles and I know this is blasphemy here but I really dislike it, very bland to me. They really should have optioned a turbo or supercharger. Just not bonding with it.

Gone to a few places and best offer I can get is $29K....Ugh

Best of luck!!

@Sgmartz Sorry to hear you dislike your GS...maybe a GS F with the V8 would be more in line with what you want. Also, he got $28k for it from CarMax: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...l#post10668828

$29k for your F-Sport seems like a good offer considering OP got $28k but had a unicorn of a GS w/Lux package and slew of options!

Oh ok thx for posting that. I saw that he went to CarMax but wasn't sure if that's where he landed.

Perhaps you're right and 29 is a good offer butt jeez I didn't think Lexus depreciated that much. At the time (Feb of 2019), 40K was the best deal I could find in the country, most local dealerships wanted 45K. Crazy to think that I'd have to pay for 11k of depreciation in only 9 months of driving. Guess I'm stuck with it...

Would have bought the GS F if they offered an AWD option (live in CO)

Now the price is $31,998. Dropped $2k this week. Maybe $30k by the end of this month, if no one buys it.

Ship it to Pleasanton Carmax and it will sell fast. They can't keep any GS in stock for long. Given it's in good condition.

Unfortunately options and extras for a used car rarely add much to the used value price of the car. If there is a new redesign release of the car in 2020 for a 2021 model expect that depreciation to be a bit worse as well. I totally understand what you mean about the car feeling bland and desiring something with more power. I too am looking for a replacement.
