If you were to buy the conversion you’d have to take out the side air channels that travels to the front wheels. You’ll see them when you take off the oem bumper. As for the parking sensors, mine didn’t end up fitting into the holes that the body shop I went to made so the holes were just left there lol. Other than that on the left side if you’re looking at it from this angle, the bumper isnt flush under the headlight so it kinda bulges out awkwardly.

Did you get the parking sensors sorted out when everything was said and done? I think it looks good.

I couldn't get the front sensors to fit in because they were bigger than the holes the body shop I went to made, but it is possible to fit them on

Why didn't the body shop install the sensors? They could have drilled the holes bigger.

Any chance you can take a pic of the bulge(fitment issue)?

Did they paint the crash bar black or can you see it?

i didnt want to pay extra for them to install it which I should’ve. Yeah I’ll post a picture later. When you do ask whoever to paint the bumper for you remember to ask them to paint the crash bar black or else they’ll paint the whole thing your color.

If you use a drill bit like this:
You can safely drill out the hole bigger with precision

@marjenmill some folks prefer not to drill holes in their bumper for the mount - others like to have the grille "shown-off" and want the plate away from the center if the plate ends up hiding or covering a section of the bumper/grille. Seen a lot of these on the 2IS and 3IS.

Looks like he's using a tow-hook mount for his front plate.

Why not just get the F sport grills for the 2013-2015 which are pretty cheap and replace the regular upper and lower grills instead of trying to put a 2016 bumper on it that does not even look that good, is kind of ugly, and has a lot of fitment issues?

IMO the best mount is to zip tie the oem mount to the lower grill. Off center doesn't look good, also when you hit bumps it will start turning, and half the time your plate will be crooked.

Funny you say that, I just removed the offset plate. Agree, not attractive.

Speaking of this, does anyone have an OEM front license plate mount I could purchase? Mine did not come with one.

Here is the part number:

Where did you get the black grill trim to replace the chrome?
How hard was the install?

I wrapped all the chrome myself with vinyl wrap.
