That change came for MY 2015, so I have no experience with it prior.

Interestingly Clarify only comes into effect on lossy audio sources, the more missing information the harder it works. The OP would be using a high quality audio source to discern a loss of clarity in the high freq bass range(or he's taking you lot for fools!) so clarify wouldn't come into play.
Of course we haven't been given any of those details so I'm still taking it with a grain of salt.

Default Infotainment system lost functionality

I have a 2017 gs350 and have been having similar problems described above. My infotainment screen doesn't register inputs from my mouse pad consistently. I have to wait like 5 minutes between clicks to navigate between all the options. Same goes with my steering wheel controls when regarding skipping music tracks. Wish there was a way to reflash the system. Does anyone know if that's something lexus can do for me or will they just suggest replacing the radio reciever. If so I have no plans on spending $13,000 for a new one.

Buy a used one on eBay or junkyard. Any 2016+ head unit will work with your car.

@Emkic are you still under warranty? If so, I'd just take it in. If not, I'd look for a used replacement unit.

Not any.

If it’s non ML then non only. ML then ML only. Also be careful that it has the SD that matches to work.

Any chance you still have that radio?

Seems like u have updated your head unit twice from 2015 to 2016 from looks of thread. If I have a 2015 GS ML Luxury model, would I just need to find equivalent 2016 head unit to be able to get the full screen Nav as it should just be plug and play for 2015 or do I also need new screen to? Do u have radio code for 2016 as well?
