So I found a screw on my rear tire this morning and took it to a local tire shop and they jacked up only one side of the car and I guess they used the pinch weld area as the jack point. Fixed the tire and all but now that piece is bent and some paint chipped and of course it's bothering me. How OCD are u guys with this kinda stuff? They didn't scratch the wheel though or I just haven't seen any yet.
Sometimes I wish I have beater and no need to worry about all this stuff.
That area is going to always be dirty so touching it up with touch up paint should be an easy fix and it will disappear from your memory...because your lovely wife told me it's pretty gone already.

Shops are often careless w the pinch weld jack points. Annual inspection means I cannot avoid them...
I use rubber-coated plumbing pliers to bend things back where they should be and touch up w spray paint.

I find that the metal weakens the more you try to bend it back - so it's better to just leave it alone..
