Default Finally New Tires? ----Rubbing question due to upsizing

So I finally got a new set of 4 four Continental DWSO6. I ended up upsizing all four tires to 245/40/19 and 275/35/19. Basically one up from the original OEM Bridgestones. As I was pulling out of the parking space and I had my wheels turned all the way out, I heard a sound. Initially, I thought it was the sound of "new" tires. But when I got out of the car, I noticed that the front tires were slightly rubbing against the inside black liner or casing inside the car (only when the wheels were all the way turned). I proceeded to show the technician and he agreed that the tire was barely touching it. As I kept turning the wheel, the sound sort of went away. He said that it would be ok. The question I have, IS IT OK? Everyone here had mentioned that upsizing is the way to go and there would be no issues. The tires are not rubbing against the body of the car. Only the inside liner is made out of a soft material. I drove the car home and I did not seem to have any issues if anything, the ride was really nice when compared to the Pontezas

You might find it acceptable if you can get into the habit of not turning the steering wheel all the way to the locks (ends of steering wheel travel). You may want to test it with the weight of some passengers because that could likely lower the body enough to rub without even turning the steering wheel all the way to the lock points.

Also, is the lining properly installed? If not correctly fastened, it may sag or bulge allowing the rubbing issue. I've not heard of rubbing issues from anyone else using the same sizes as you.

Would they have taken the liners off while doing the new install? It happened while I was pulling out of the parking lot / I have not tested the car while out and about. I just drove home after the install. I will make sure to do it tomorrow. I thought it was weird considering this is a popular tire size and the option for many on these boards
