Default Am I missing a screw or a bolt? Visual question

Hi

I had my bumper resprayed and I think the bodyshop forgot to put the screws back in. Can you have a look to make sure I'm not going crazy?

Thanks in advance

There are missing screws - right?

Yes you are missing the bumper fastener pins:

You can get them online and look something like this:

OP, mind me asking what the respray cost you? Needing to get mine done as well, so was just curious. And @AJLex19 is exactly right on what you're missing there.

OP - You'll be asking the body shop that painted your bumper to install the missing bumper clips, right?

If the shop re-sprayed the bumper and it took the bumper off, they definitely had to remove those screws but they were probably a little hasty or neglected to keep 'em handy. It easy to lose them once their out.

When I replaced my fogs, getting them out was somewhat difficult. However, after I put the liner back together and got everything back in, I noticed its much easier to turn those pins and pull them out...potentially easy to lose post-facto.

It's easy to remove if you know what your doing. Just turn then left or right 90 degrees to the unlock position, then stick a flathead under the pin, and pull it straight out.

When you install it you put the pin strait in with the line going up/down. If the shop installed it and turned it to the left or right to the unlock position, it will just pop out on it's own from regular driving. I know because it happened to me after I reinstalled my bumper, had to buy the clips online.

These clips break all the time - bodyshop carries thousands of them. They should fix it.

I don't mind paying a fair price for quality work.
But all too often I find missing parts and incomplete work done.
Drives me crazy.
