Anyone over 200k?

Amazing how a thread on 200k mile Lexus issues turned into a discussion about octane ratings. To the OP, that probably answers your question on how many issues high mileage Lexus cars have.

Or nobody here is keeping their cars over 200K miles. If mine ever reaches 100K I'll drive to the dealer and trade it in for a new one or a lot sooner than that.

Mines has about 71k bought it with 19k plan on keeping it forever. When I reach 100k sometime at the end of next year I'll let you know. So far no issues really. Replaced the battery tires and brakes

Does anyone know how much the dealer charges to replace the water pump if it's out of warranty?

I'm loving it! i plan on keeping the car a long time, even after i get another different car, so i'm happy about this.

... and he only changed the water pump because of the high mileage... it did not fail. I hope the other AC servo motors hold up for that long. LOL

I also plan on driving my GS past 232,505 miles, currently over 100k miles and no issues.
And to prove my point why you never have to touch the water pump:

My Dad has 210k on his 2006 GS300. Only issues he has ever had were a couple sensors. Hes has done Spark plugs when recommended and regular oil changes. I sold it to him 7 years ago with 53k on it. My 2015 only has 19k but these cars last a long time......
