Default GS-F JDM rear fenders on GS350

May not be everyone’s cup of tea but just thought I’d share since I’m pretty happy with this mod. I have RC-F wheels with 275/35/19 in the rear and honestly they stuck out just a bit so I thought I’d offset these with GS-F jdm fenders. Makes the car in the rear look a bit wider. Paid $208 shipped from Lexus boutique during their 15% holiday sale. Took about a week to arrive to San Diego from Japan.

I think the smaller bumper piece the one on the GS F looks better than the larger fender piece. I've thought about getting it but it really serves no purpose other than creating drag. They have it because the wheel is not suppose to stick out further than the fender from the factory.

you cut and welded in new wider fenders? Or did you just add the little lip thing to the american fenders? confused.

It's just a double sided taped piece of plastic on your existing fender, doesn't serve any purpose other than satisfying a law/regulation that your fender has to stick out past your tires. IMO looks silly and out of place.

You're right not everyone's cup of tea. You've officially joined the "Riced Out" club.

dang... shots fired, everyone is entitled to their opinion. It’s my build and I’m happy with it. But the only thing riced out here is your screen name.

R171 2005-2011 Mercedes SLK AMG55 has those flair additions. The staggered wheel in the rear also extended outside the body..
The flair is more to the rear of the bumper than on top.

How? It's very subtle and looks stock.

Looks good. Thanks for posting the pictures for future reference. I was going to order them back in December but never got the chance to. Going to have to place an order real soon.

I don’t see how this is “riced out” when this is an oem part.

Some might consider this JDM Rice since it serves no purpose. Like the Civic Type R with pointless aero, fake vents to make the car look more aggressive.

It serves the purpose of making the wider tyre legal, and help you pass the car road worthiness test.
