Default defroster

I used my rear & front defroster for the first time this morning. After I turned both off the front air was still coming from the upper dash windshield vents and not from the vents by the radio. How do I get the air redirected? I played around it and could not get the air to come from the dash vents by radio.

Push the button where the arrow points to face of the passenger icon. With climate control though, the majority of the heat will be blown at your feet. If that is not working, your vents maybe stuck.

No, if u put it in auto it knows when and where to redirect the airflow to defrost and defog while keeping u warm. This car is very smart, I rarely have to mess with the climate control except to adjust the temperature and turn on the rear defroster.

Yes sometimes it does that because the car thinks ur windshield will start to fog and it's trying to keep it from fogging up. Try again later in the day and see if it's still blowing to the windshield.

You fancy 2019 owners. My 2013, I have to manually engage windshield defrosters.

Time to drive to the dealer and trade in for a new one.

Yes that's because the car knows that ur windshield isn't going to fog up during this time of the day and it switched back to blowing air from the front vents or wherever it thinks best.

Either the car knows or the servos were able to reset the air flow.
