Question, the back window is tinted normally right? Not sure if they come like that or not.
The reason I ask, is the dimmer does nothing in my car. I toggle it on and off and see no difference. I've convinced myself the tint makes the lights dim enough that the mirror doesn't need to do anything.
My ES that wasn't tinted I could absolutely tell. Couldn't live without the auto dimmer. Now, sometimes I turn it off for days and can't tell... It *appears* to work (lights and stuff come on) but I really don't know.

The lights don't bother me really, but the tint is why I guess.

I got 20% all around and my mirror still works. Also u don't really notice the borders on the glass under normal driving condition, unless ur really looking for it but u might crash!

WTF! You guys are killing me! Now I have to go look at my mirror and see what the heck you are talking about. I keep the rear sunshade up all the time. Even at night. Maybe that is why I have not even considered having the auto dim switch on or off. Are our outside mirrors auto dimming as well? I don’t even know. To my defense, I have had this car since May and have put about 2500 miles on it, so it is still new to me. So sorry for the questions.
