Thanks! I took delivery thursday and so far am loving it. Now for further research into exhausts. Can anyone lay out the different packages between Borla/Invidia/Tanabe exhausts and cost with install? Would like a nice growl at RPMs and revving without drone, although I realize the two can sometimes be mutually exclusive. Also not wanting to void warranty, throw codes or jeopardize reliability.

None of them will void warranty or cause any codes as long as its properly installed.

You need to determine which sound you like the best from Youtube. Thats the best way to figure out what sound you're going for.

We have the Borla and Invidia axle backs in stock. The Tanabe is backordered til April.

Question for Peasodos, did you put a different intake on your 450H? How about exhaust? I know you usually do the interior/exterior type upgrades, just wondering if you or anyone else tried to do anything with the 450H engine or exhause. Just curious. Thanks.

intake/exhaust is a pointless on the 450h, real world hp gain will be minimal at best, not to mention it will just become a noise maker. On the 450h the engine turns on/off many times making the car louder will make this part more annoying.

Wow, sorry Peasodos, stupid questions from a fellow Hybrid owner. Must not have been awake. I was thinking what I had done to my Acura RDX turbo five years back with intake and intercooler and stuff like that and what was available for our Atkinson engine cycle. Our car is so quiet, why mess with it. Other than the power closing mirrors upgrade. Just need to do that one on the cheap.

Yeah anything you try to mess with performance wise on the 450h will either degrade mpg, it's quietness, or ride quality. Probably all 3 are reasons you bought the car in the first place. I find sport or sport+ more than sufficient if I want to drive aggressive. Yes turbo cars you can easily increase performance with a tune tweaking boost pressure, also larger inter cooler.
