Flaxen is stunning. I would have been all over it when I bought mine had one been available.

If you have any doubt about flaxen do not get it. A color people love it or hate it. Also I would not recommend the Mark Levinson over the standard Bose.

The Michelins I had on before only lasted about 25K miles. The lack of rotation was a slight negative. I got Michelin AS3+ now, at a size bigger and have been very happy with these. At least they are not directional and can be rotated left to right.

If you're buying from Park Place, then the added cost also comes with top notch service. You're paying for the convenience and courtesy provided through these dealers. I have pulled up and my adviser had the loaner ready to go, all I had to do was sign for some documents. I was in and out in 15 minutes. My opinion is, you don't just pay for the car, you pay for the convenience that comes with the brand.

Don't discount the flaxen interior! Its kinda rare on the F-Sport model and looks great with any exterior color. Here's my non F-sport Starfire Pearl w/Flaxen interior:

Need tires for GS350 AWD 235/45/18. Looking all season grand touring Michelin Cross Climate or Goodyear Weatheready. Thought about ultra high performance Michelin Pilot Sport but concerned about noise and potential for harsh ride.

On the other hand, as someone who has owned a ML and non-ML GS, I *highly* recommend the ML if given the option.

No issues with discoloration although I try to use a few interior cleaning products from Meguiar's to keep things clean. There was driver seat wear/tear when I first bought CPO. The leather was cracking and peeling a bit but the dealership fixed it at no cost to me after I bought it. No issues since.

What did they do to the leather to fix it? I've noticed CPO's at the dealership with considerable miles on them that have really nice seats. I figured they have some way of refurbishing the worn leather.

Not entirely sure but I know they outsource the work. I ended up buying the car, then they picked it back up from me and had it repaired. Salesman said they have a great "leather guy" who does all that kind of work. It took about 3-4 days to get the car back.

Nice to hear that you've seen CPO's with higher mileage with reconditioned interiors...they tried to sell me my current car as-is but I couldn't accept it. Their repair was done perfectly and for free...car now has about 60k miles, seat was fixed in May 2015 when it had 43k miles.

Certification is long gone but the repair has held up well!

UPDATE: I went to look at the car I mentioned in the original post (2018 FSport, Smoky Granite Mica, with ML, 17.5k miles) as well as another (2017 FSport, Atomic Silver with HUD, ML with 29k miles). Hopped in the 2017 first and checked out the HUD (which I was thinking I just had to have!), but once I saw it in person it wasn't as cool as I thought it would be. Additionally, when looking at both cars side by side, I was more drawn to the 2018 Smoky Granite Mica vs the Atomic Silver. New tires in rear and the curb rash mentioned above that was located on the driver wheel was minor at best. Meanwhile the 2017, while not detailed yet (it had just arrived this weekend) had one wheel that had deep scratches/curb rash, almost 3/4 the way around, a number of blemishes that may have been repaired in detail, but overall the car just didn't hit me like the other one did. I was able to negotiate the pricing down to a comparative level I have seen and have warranty through 11/2023. Will be picking up tomorrow or Thursday. Thanks for the help!

Sounds great. You are going to love the car. I just picked up a 2018 Atomic Silver GS350 F Sport AWD. It has ML and the heated steering wheel. 20K miles and I got it for $38,900. It's L certified with a 50 month unlimited mileage bumper to bumper warranty. I think I did OK. Want to replace the driving mode **** as it has a few scratches on it, but otherwise everything's good to go. And, Sport + mode is FUN.
