Default 2018 gs350 f sport brake pad suggestion

Looking to get pads for 2018 gs350 f sport. 32k miles pads are gone. Anybody would recommend pads? Akebono only has for rear. I was thinking hawk ceramic in the front the yellow ones.

Dang, it feels like there are 2 new threads a day about brake pads lately.

If the 2018 F-sport is anything like the 2015, I'd recommend OEM brake pads. Do a quick search on f-sport brake squeal and you'll see why.

Get the updated oem pads:

TSB For Brake Squeal: L-SB-0001-20

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...0001-20-a.html

Pads Set 04465-30540
Shim Kit 04945-30340

Otherwise most likely your going to have brake squeal with non-oem, multiple threads on this.

I just took off my Akebono pads because it squealed so bad. They were only installed for about 2 months. I went back to OEM. A lot of dust, but is an insignificant price to pay for quiet brakes IMO.

It got worse with colder weather. But was still squealed at 50F or higher temps.

Cold weather in general amplifies all squeaks and rattles in a car.
